KARACHI – A shocking incident has been reported from Karachi’s Gulshan Iqbal where son of Deputy superintendent of police was caught in act of robbing a pan shop using police mobile.
The startling development emerged as the CCTV footage of the incident caused outrage. The video shows police mobile pulling up in front of pan shop, and two men can be seen coming out of vehicle. One of the men barged into shop.
The men also took pan shop owner, and hurled him with severe consequences. Later, it was revealed that the robbery was committed by son of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
After the shocking revelation, both police officer and his son have been arrested and are currently in police custody in port city. Karachi police senior officials took notice of incident.
Earlier, the pan shop owner lodged an FIR, saying three individuals in plain clothes robbed his shop. He mentioned that culprits took cash and cigarettes worth thousands. He also accused them of stealing cash from his pocket, and physical assault.
