KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan recorded whooping surge in line with increasing global prices on Wednesday.
According to Sarafa Association, per tola gold price saw an increase of Rs2,400 to settle at Rs242,700, whereas, the price of 10-gram surged by Rs2,058 to close at Rs208,076 in local market.
In international market, the gold prices registered an increase of $13 to reach $2,352 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silvers prices also increased in Pakistan as per tola price surged by Rs100 to reach Rs2,900. The price of 10-gram moved up by Rs85.74 to close at Rs2,486.28.
On May 28, per tola gold plunged by Rs500 to close at Rs240,300, whereas, the price of 10-gram dropped by Rs429 to reach Rs206,018.
